This is my journey as I learn to live more consciously, wholly, and lovingly through the principles of yoga. Find my original essay here: Why I Want To Be a Better Person
I chose the name “Evolving Yogi” for two reasons. First and foremost, I hope this will turn into a community for anyone who is on the path to transformation and because this is a collective, I didn’t want to make any specific gender assignments (i.e. “yogini”).
Yoga is considered to be anything that brings you closer to connecting with your true self. So no matter what the method or activity is that’s guiding your process, we’re all here with a common intention…to evolve.
